Summary of what Minnesota is doing:

The MN Suicide Prevention Plan, including 28 strategies recommended by a statewide advisory group, was completed by the MN Dept. of Health (MDH) and presented to the MN Legislature in January 2000. In partnership with multiple stake-holders, MDH continues implementation of the plan through June 2001 and is considering a state legislative proposal for 2002-2004. Support for implementing the entire plan is sought from both public and private sectors.
